FAQ Knowledge Base

What user roles exist in BlogIn?

There are 4 user roles or access levels on BlogIn that define what each user can do on the blog:

1) Reader - can only read posts and comments created by other users
2) Commenter - can create comments on posts, but can not create posts
3) Writer - can create posts and comments
4) Administrator -  can access and control everything, which means: create new posts and comments, edit all posts and comments, manage post categories, create static pages, create and manage user teams,  invite new team members, customize blog account (company logo, custom domain, open email domain..)

Blog Administrators can change user role for each user at any time and can also define a user role for each user when sending the invitation to new users to join the blog.
